Midas Magazine is a student-led organization that UNC Charlotte hosts. The student organization works on completing a magazine issue every semester that focuses on 4 main ideas: Culture, Identity, Artistry, and Lifestyle. Midas Magazine consists of 4 major teams: The Writing Team, Promotions Team, Photography Team, and The Design Team. In this particular issue, I worked as the Design Director along with 4 other designers. The cover and three different chapters of spreads were designed by me. For the magazine, the approach was to be consistent with a grungy/90s expression that supported the idea of being the "main character". The other designers were assisted with making the best design choices for their assigned spreads.
