Midas magazine is a student-led organization that UNC Charlotte hosts. The student organization works on completing a magazine issue every semester that focuses on 4 main ideas: Culture, Identity, Artistry, and Lifestyle. Midas Magazine consists of 4 major teams: The Writing Team, Promotions Team, Photography Team, and The Design Team. In this particular issue, I worked with two other designers along with the design director. The table of contents and two different chapters of spreads were designed by my. For the magazine, the approach was to be consistent with minimalism and modernism. Combining photos and types to create movement for the audiences' eyes were practiced in these layout designs.
